I think it’s broken

When you have a new site that normally gets several hundred views a month and your weekly report comes in like this

You can be sure something is broken and it probably has something to do with Google not sending you any traffic. Its always something. This is a site that I haven’t been working because I want to move it from PixelPost to Wordpress before investing any more time, but still… I like some traffic coming in.

PageRank disappears overnight

I was surprised that the Gulf Coast Magazine main page had any page rank since it is brand new and isn’t being updated regularly yet but it had a rank of 3 almost from the beginning. A testament to my brilliance at SEO.

However, I knew if I didn’t start getting some new content posted to the magazine I would start to see some page rank evaporate but I didn’t expect to see it go to zero overnight. But it did.  A testament to my brilliance at SEO.
