Upgrading to Windows XP

If you have a laptop with some kind of Windows Vista version on it and you would like for your laptop to actually function you might have been considering an upgrade to Windows XP.

If you have SATA hard drives and no floppy, here is some good advice regarding drivers you need to consider.

    Don,

I got a Toshiba Satellite A215 in Feb/Mar that came with Vista and I am not happy at all. I tried dumping all the pre-installed bullshit and it seemed the more I took out the worse the situation became.

I’ve wanted to flush Vista and install XP, but am somewhat cautious about doing so as I can’t even get my db right for Word Press on my blog.

I have a copy of XP Pro. Any suggestions for a novice to rid myself of this nuisance? Eko might as well have been writing in his native language for all I could manage.

BTW, I posted a SRV song over at my blog for you and JD this a.m. Just the beginning of the season. We had Bertha skirt the Carolinas a few days ago.

    Dave
